Hello, and welcome to my corner of the world! I’m so happy you’re here.
I’m Sarah Zubi Imran. I am a fierce advocate of gender and social justice. I grew up in Pakistan, and for the past several years, have studied and worked in the U.S. and so my understanding of inequity and the pursuit of gender and social justice work have been shaped by these two very different lived experiences.
I am a mission-driven illustrator. My illustrations help me bring my love of art and social justice together. I make art to celebrate changemakers and trailblazers who are paving a path for a more just world. My art also depicts a world based on principles of radical love and justice to expand our collective imagination of what’s possible.
I am also a PhD student studying Political Science. I have a background in Economics and Community Development.
My research interests include gender justice, women’s rights in the Global South, and social movements.
